ICHI THE KILLER (2001)
Directed By: Takeshi Miike
Film Reviewed by: Adam Trash
Kakihara (Tadanobu Asano) is a masochistic wise guy, his face scarred
with the very any wounds and blows he has solicited. He is on the trail
of the mobsters who kidnapped his boss Anjo. Pitted against him is Ichi
(Nao Omori), the eponymous killer who is generally timid as a mouse but
can be roused to acts of superhuman ferocity, if he can be convinced that
his targets resemble the bullies who made his life a misery in high school.
Here are truly nauseating scenes of murder and torture.
